Comparing apples to apples when it comes to air charter services can be challenging. Some charge a flat rate  per person, while others charge an hourly rate for the whole aircraft. Alaska Air Transporters does some of each. Some of our excursions are charged per person, and our charter flights and custom adventures are based on an hourly rate for the aircraft. For the Beaver, that rate is $850 per engine tachometer hour. In remote locations that rate may be higher to reflect higher fuel prices in remote locations.

While many of our flights require at least four passengers, you don’t necessarily have to have the whole group yourself. Please contact us and we can put you on the schedule and match you with additional travelers as they call. If no one else calls to book the remaining seats we will contact you with enough notice to find an alternative excursion for the day.
