Terms and Conditions

Alaska Air Transporters’ Payment and Cancellation policy tries to balance our need to maximize a very short operational season and your travel flexibility. We realize that in the current travel climate planning is more difficult and your plans can be derailed with limited warning. With that in mind, we have two different policies in effect to cover the different types of flights we offer;

Flightseeing tours don’t utilize the plane/pilot all day and are easier to rebook when cancellations occur. For this reason our policy is more lenient.

Full day bear viewing, Custom Adventures, and Charters will generally take the plane/pilot out of service for a day or longer, and are more difficult to rebook, so our policy is more stringent for these trips.


If you are booking significantly in advance to insure your dates and trip are secure, you can do that with a 50% deposit. Full payment is required 30 days prior to the scheduled flight. Any reservation made within 30 days of the scheduled flight will require full payment at the time of booking.


For any of our flights that we need to cancel due to weather, mechanical/maintenance issues, or staffing problems, you will be given the option to reschedule for a time when we have availability, or to receive a full refund.

Cancellation of our One Hour, Two Hour, Three Hour Flight Seeing Tours, or Lunch, Brunch, or Dinner Tours require 48 hour notice to be eligible for a refund. Cancellations with less than 48 hour notice from the scheduled departure will not be refunded.

Cancellation of Full Day Bear Viewing Tours, Charter Flights, or Custom Adventures require 30 day notice to be eligible for a full refund, and seven day notice to be eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations with less than seven day notice will not be refunded.
